Bridal Party Hairstyling 2023/24 - Terms and Conditions
Booking
Becca Ives requires a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, which is deducted from the total amount due. Your wedding date is secure and the booking is made when the payment has been received. By paying your deposit you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Bridal Trials
Your bridal trial is a service which allows Becca Ives to meet you, to know the perfect way to create your chosen style/s for your wedding day, with your accessories, within a maximum of 90-120 minutes dependant on your package. This service is arranged for 1-2 months prior to your Wedding Day and is based in Plymouth (PL5). One bridal trial is included in the package price which you have chosen. You may have additional trials if you desire them at the cost of £65. 'No-shows' or trial appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours notice, (this is referring to your trial which is included in your package), will incur the cost of £65 to be rearranged.
Final Payment
The final payment is due 2 months prior to your Wedding Day – you will receive an email reminder for this. For example, if your Wedding day is on 1st August, your final payment is due by 1st June. Payment details will be emailed to you for your booking. Once this final payment has been made, it is non-refundable after a 7 day 'cooling off period', in which you can be refunded up to 7 days after your payment has been made if you wish to cancel your booking. This is to protect Becca Ives from loss of business due to other bookings being declined to be able to proceed with yours and being unable to find alternative business, at short notice. A late payment fee of £50 will be added to the final amount due, if your payment has not been received by the due date.
Cancellations
Your booking with Becca Ives is agreed once your deposit has been paid – you cannot deduct bridal party members, (which are an additional £65pp), from your initial booking or change the package to a lower priced option. These members must still be paid for if they no longer require their hair styled. However, if availability allows - you may be able to add extra bridal party members or upgrade your package, which must be confirmed by 2 months before your wedding day and be included in the final payment.
On the extremely rare occasion Becca Ives is no longer able to style your bridal party on your Wedding Day – you will receive a 100% refund.
Refunds
Becca Ives does not offer refunds for hairstyling services but please contact her if you feel dissatisfied with your service.
Photography
Portfolio building is extremely valuable in the wedding & hairstyling industry. If you do not wish to have your photo taken and used in her portfolio, to be featured on her website and social media accounts please make her aware prior to your Wedding Day.
Travel and Assistant Fees
Travel fees are included in the packages and additional fees will be added if necessary which you are given upon booking. Becca Ives reserves the right to charge what she feels appropriate for the location of your wedding. Both directions of travel are included and fuel, mileage and time are all considered during this calculation. Currently charged at £50 per hour. An assistant fee may be added if Becca needs an extra stylist to accompany her on your wedding morning.
Skin Allergies & Conditions
Becca Ives must be informed of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. Becca Ives cannot be held liable for any reactions or losses that occur due to the client’s failure to inform her of any known condition. It is also the client’s responsibility to inform Becca Ives of any sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions within the booked bridal party. Becca Ives reserves the right to refuse hairstyling services if any contagious skin or hair infections are present and you will not be refunded for these services. The client and party receive hairstyling services at their own risk.
